During a time where rock's direction in the mainstream market had changed with the oncoming of 'modern' rock/grunge bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP and the like, X-Sinner took time out from their usual musical fare of blues based hard rock/metal to indulge themselves in the modern rock genre. Unsure if metal was indeed dead or not, the band set out to create a new sound with the plan of potentially changing their name as well to represent this new musical direction. This is the result from that two year recording session. They were like mad scientists creating something new in the studio, hence the group name The Angry Einsteins was chosen for this album. It met with critical acclaim and garnered interest with some mainstream record labels the band had been courting but a deal was never struck. They decided to release a small number of CD's themselves in 2003 through Retroactive Records. It has become a very collectable CD over the recent years, fetching big dollars from online retailers.
